Meet the Administrators
Maggie Lopez, Principal
I have the honor of serving the Craughwell community, and I am thrilled to enjoy this journey with our students, families and staff. We are Respectful, Responsible, Safe and Kind. We are Bucket Fillers!
This is my nineteenth year in education and my tenth year as an administrator in Troy 30-C. I taught sixth, seventh, and eighth grade science in Romeoville. I had the pleasure of serving Troy Middle School as an Assistant Principal for five years.
I received my Bachelor's Degree from DePaul University. I went on to study Curriculum and Instruction at Concordia University. Finally, I got my Masters in Administration from Benedictine University.
When I'm not at Troy Craughwell, I love spending time with my family. My husband and I have two daughters. We love to go on walks and family runs, we enjoy watching movies and having campfires together.

Steve Foster, Assistant Principal
I am proud to serve as the assistant principal at Troy Craughwell. Watching the Troy Craughwell students learn and grow from the time they enter our building as kindergartners until they leave us at the end of fourth grade is so rewarding.
This is my 32nd year in education. I taught first, second, and third grades before joining the Troy 30-C District as an Instructional Coach. I served as an Instructional Coach for five years before becoming the assistant principal at both Troy Craughwell and Troy Heritage Trail schools. The following year I became full-time assistant principal at Troy Craughwell.
I received my Elementary Education degree at Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, IL. I obtained a master's degree in Teaching and Learning at University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL, and a second master's degree in Educational Administration at Governor's State University in University Park, IL.
In my free time I enjoy gardening, spending time with family and friends, ushering and attending live theater.
